Database of Legislators in Asian Democracies

The database provides information regarding legislators' constituencies, party affiliations, and roll-call votes on bills and resolutions in two Asian democracies—South Korea and the Philippines—since their respective transitions to democracy. It is useful for researchers who are studying the legislatures of those countries, particularly legislative voting behavior and party switching by legislators.

South Korean National Assembly

The dataset covers South Korea's legislators in the 16th, the 17th, and the 18th National Assemblies (May 30, 2000 to May 29, 2012).
