아세아문제연구소는 대만 國立政治大學 國際關係大學 한국학연구소와 공동으로 2012년 3월 2일 대만 國立政治大學에서 ‘兩岸관계와 남북한 관계의 역사적 함의 : 역사·사회·정치·경제와 안보’라는 주제로 국제학술대회를 개최했다. 이 학술대회는 대만 蔣經國연구기금회의 연구지원을 받아 2년 동안 토론과 준비를 거쳐 모두 11개의 논문이 발표되었다. 학술대회는 역사·정치·경제 3분과로 나누어 양안관계와 남북관계의 역사적 비교, 정치·경제적인 비교를 통해 양안관계와 남북관계의 과거·현재를 다양한 관점에서 분석하고, 향후 발전 방향을 모색했다.
